In 1983 a fledging group of big-hearted volunteers organized and, working out of a small closet, began distributing food throughout Cedar Creek Lake area. Now, The Community Food Pantry in Tool is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization and has provided supplemental food, support, and education to families in the Cedar Creek Lake area for over 40 years. Led by Executive Director Vicki Dumont and a host of dedicated volunteers, the Food Pantry serves over 160,000 lbs. of food annually to more than 1,300 families with over 5,300 children, adults and seniors in our Cedar Creek Lake area.  Located at 100 South Old Indian Trail, Tool, TX 75143.
